Perhaps this forum could be used to share advice on teaching, GIS data sources, internship or assistantship announcements among members.

At CSUN, we are using a web-based citrix client application to allow students to use ArcMap 10.x at home on laptops or phones, regardless of platform.  We are introducing thousands of students per year to GIS this way and winning new majors.
